Rates and Booking Information 2012
These rates are valid from 1 January to 31 December 2012 (we reserve the right to change our rates at any time).
Rooms
All prices are per room per night and include breakfast, a cooked lunch or packed lunch for full day walks, evening meal, juice drinks, mineral water, transportation to and from the Reserve trails (where necessary), internet access (at the REGUA office) and refreshing caiperinhas each evening.

A discount of 7.5% on the above rates is available on all rooms booked between February and May inclusive.

Transfer service
REGUA is not the easiest place to find, and we recommend that visitors use our mini-bus transfer service to and from the airports or hotels in Rio. The cost of each trip to or from Rio is US$180. The bus can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people and the cost can be shared if there is group travelling together. Please let us know at the time of booking if you require this service.
Please note that it may not always be possible to collect visitors arriving at the airport very late in the evening, in which case visitors will be advised to stay in one of the airport hotels and will be collected early the following morning.
Guides
We have two experienced local guides who know the birds, other wildlife and the trails extremely well, and any walks will be far more productive if accompanied. Whilst it is wise to pre-book the guides, we cannot guarantee their exclusive availability and visitors may be asked to group together.

Excursions outside REGUA
Excursions to birdwatching sites and tourist attractions outside the Reserve can be arranged in advance or during your stay. We have six standard excursions away from the Reserve where a variety of different species and habitats can be found. A minimum of three people is required for each trip to run, and the cost includes a guide, transportation, a driver, tolls and entrance fees (where applicable).

Inclusive rates
If you plan to visit REGUA for 3 or more nights we can offer special inclusive daily rates that include accommodation, meals, airport collection and return, guiding and various excursions (the number dependent on the length of stay). Other services
We operate a tab system for items such as beer, soft drinks and laundry, which is settled when checking out.

We strongly advise guests to take out a suitable travel insurance policy to protect against cancellation, curtailment, medical emergency and personal effects.
